I had been with another realtor for two months who did little to sell my house. I did not want to make a move in the winter, so I was anxious to get a good listing by summer. I finally took the house off the market because nothing was happening with the first realtor. You came to my door about the middle of May. I wasn't sure I wanted to list the house again. I was impressed with the fact that you were not pushy and were well presented. I didn't want to show interest at first until I knew more about you but decided to call you back a few days later. You indicated you help elderly clients!! I've never been sorry for that decision. When you returned to talk about the possible sale, you filled my water softener with salt pellets and changed the air filter. Everything you promised at our first meeting was followed up. You sent photographers to take shots of the various rooms. Your put out your sign and began to bring in several prospective buyers. You indicated that your family worked as a unit helping elderly clients, and sure enough, your wife and daughter came two different evenings and helped pack kitchen cupboards for several hours. On June 5 you called with the good news that you had a full-price offer. The whole things took a little less than three weeks. I could not bring all my furnishings to a smaller place in Oregon, and you negotiated a fair price for the items the buyer wanted to keep. You arranged for an appraiser and an evaluator to come in a timely fashion and kept me posted on their findings. You promised to provide packing boxes which you did, then took away the leftover boxes that we did not use. This would have been a monumental job for me. You furnished two young men to help load the truck and stayed around to check that things went smoothly. In fact you were still at the house when the truck pulled out so you could take away last-minute garbage, etc., on June 29. I appreciate your call when my sister and I were driving a car and a truck to Oregon to see whether our trip was going well. It was. I am settling into my new place in Oregon now. I thank you so much for all your help with selling the house and for helping me through the process. I would recommend you to anyone selling a home, especially an elderly person.
