Hey, this is where I live so let me show you the big picture and why I love it!

First, have you seen all the construction along state rt 9 between town and Walmart?

Yeah, its the last leg of the Southern Parkway that starts at I-15 and SunRiver Parkway and heads east, skirting south of the new airport, past Sandhollow Reservoir and then straight north and ties into state rt 9 at 2800 W.

I have been hearing about this secondary route into Hurricane since 2006. Now the new Southern Parkway Interchange is underway.

This video is not about road construction. I live here, in Hurricane. I love it!

I drove through here in 2001 and told my friends I wanted to move here.

Do you know what I love about Hurricane Valley??

Well, Southern Utah in general??

It's a recreational playground.

In my neighborhood, we have a new Splash pad and Pickleball courts going in. And we are within walking distance of SandHollow Reservoir.

Within 5 minutes of my home, you can Boat, Fish, Bike, Water ski, Golf, 4x4 on the Sand dunes, Scuba dive, and more.

Did you know there is a VW bus submerged in the lake for scuba divers???

Just in Hurricane Valley, we have 3 Golf Course, 2 lakes, a multitude of bike and hiking trails.

Historic buildings, Indian ruins, and dinosaur tracks.

Our annual events like the Parade of Homes, Tri-State Atv/Utv Jamboree, Ironman, and Peach days.

We are in driving distance of Snow Ski-ing and Snowmobiling in the winter.

We are less than 2 hours from the Grand Canyon and Lake Powell.

We are within an hour and half of Vegas for the big concerts and shows.. and pretty soon, professional football.
