Don't Make These Mistakes When Considering a New Construction
Mistakes to avoid when considering a new construction build in Southern Utah. Your local real estate agent in St George, Hurricane, Cedar City, Ivins, Santa Clara, Washington City and all surrounding areas. Do you know what to watch for while your home is under construction? Do you know what choices are available to you?
Have you considered which direction the home sits?
You may have the back yard patio facing west and in Southern Utah that make it almost unusable for 3-4 months out of the year because it's too hot.
Does it matter then if the garage is on the left or right side of the home?
Absolutely! On the right side, the service door from the garage lines up with the access door into the RV. It's a straight shot. If it on the left side, you will be making multiple trips around the entire length of the RV to get to the garage .
What about the size of home vs the lot you build on?
If you overbuild the lot, leaving no room for a back yard. Believe me when I say It's a deal killer. You could lose hundreds of thousands of dollars when its time to Sell.
